My great uncle was Herbert Pitts, b. 19 Oct 1876 NY, m. 6 Dec 1907 Delphi Falls, Ny to Mary Almyra (Myra) Hobert/Hobart. He died 19 Nov 1966 in Oran, NY and is buried in Delphi Falls, with his sp. He was a farmer for many years and later ran a small gas station in Oran. They had one son, Hobart b. 28 Sep 1908 Oran, Ny who d. in WW2. His father was Edward Pitts b. abt 1843 Ny and mother Alice___ b. abt. 1830. I know he had siblings, Cora and Charles who were older than he. Does anyone have any other info on this line? Hi, Sharon. We've probably shared with each other what we have on the parents of Herbert Pitts, but for the list I'll post my stuff here. The father Edward Pitts also went by Edwin Pitts. He was in the 12 NY Infantry Regiment.
