    2. ========================================================================= Date: Thu, 22 Jan 2004 15:29:37 -0500 (EST) From: "Tim Stowell" <tstowell@chattanooga.net> To: NYMADISO-L@rootsweb.com Sorry folks but it is not from the list. It may contain a subject line from this list. Why do I say such? Rootsweb does not allow any attachments to list messages, nor any HTML characters to come through lists. If you can pre-screen your email before downloading it, I urge you to do so, for this week I have received several emails from addresses well known to me, but were in fact spoofed with an executable (most likely a virus) attached. The best way to protect your machine though is to have current virus definitions on your computer. Speaking of which - a couple of months ago I gave a couple of PC lessons here. While most liked the idea, some did not - so I'm creating another list - actually reviving a non-used list to post items that should be helpful for folks and their computers. If you are interested in joining such a list, please email me privately at tstowell@chattanooga.net

If you are interested in joining >such a list, please email me privately at tstowell@chattanooga.net Said list was closed down by the political wing of USGenWeb. Another list has been formed but I've not yet started speaking there or subscribing folks. I have look at alternative ways of putting this out there for folks - ie a web site and am at present experimenting with a wiki. Tim
