    3. List, I know this is a bit off topic but thought since this happened to me today I should forewarn you all. Just recently I replied off list to a very nice individual to a request that they had regarding a certain person in their family. I had gone to Ancestry, clicked and then sent the person the e-mail page. There wasn't a problem when I sent it nor when the person got it did they have a problem getting it. However when the person wrote back to thank me, along with the e-mail came notice of an attachment with about 6 files inclosed. Assuming it hat it had come from the individual that I had gotten the thank you e-mail from I opened it. You can imagine my surprise when I opened it up and found my husband's personal info that he had recently sent to SS. I didn't even stop to look in the rest of the files to see what was there I was so shocked by what I did find. I immediately called my husband and had him check it out. He was of course shocked as well. He told me that a while back he had sent that particular info to SS but that had been about a month ago. He tried to get rid of it thinking that it had been a worm or virus and had quite a time doing it. I am not sure if he really did or not. I wrote to the person that I got it from and they assured me that they had not attached any thing onto the e-mail that they had sent me and I do believe them. And I again checked in my sent box to see if I had sent them an attachment not realizing that I did and the answer was no. About the same time that I sent the first individual the info they were looking for, I send another individual their's also basically the same thing. When they wrote back there was no attachment that came back with their thank you. I thought it only decent on my part to share this with the list just incase they happen to receive something similar or that something similar might happen to them as well. Last year, I had a worm attack me very badly. I was able to get and receive e-mails ok but to get on the net and use other features on my computer I could not do. Even my fire wall and virus checker which was brand new had been disabled. It took my husband a 2 hour phone call with Microsoft tech services to get it fixed. I would like to hear back from any of you that might have also had a similar problem to day. Joan
