There is a Jacob Richard (Engaged at Oriskany) listed in Col. Jacob Klock's Regiment - Second Tryon County Militia in the Revolution. Also a Bartholomew Rickerd, Lodowick Rickert, and John Rikert listed in same Regiment. Kocherthal Records lists Baptisms: 1715 March 6th - Johann Mattheus, born March 1st. child of Johann REICHART (commonly called Reitz) and Elisabetha Catherina BACKUS; Sponsors: Johann Mattheus JUNG and Sophia HORNUNG 1712 Jan 29th - Johann Bernhard, born Dec 30th, 1711, child of Jostaph and Anna Maria REICHARD; Sponsors: Johann Bernhard ZIPPERLIN and his wife Anna Marie. 1714 April 18th - Johann David, born April 17th, child of Joseph and Anna Maria REICHART; Sponsors: Johann Bernhard ZIPPERLIN and his wife.
