I believe I descend from Oliver Kenyon through his daughter Prudence, born October 1801, married John Barber of Carlisle, Schoharie County, New York, removed to Illinois in 1838 and died in Iowa in 1886. Our family knows that Oliver Kenyon married Sarah Sweet on November 24, 1773 in South Kingston, Rhode Island. But we are not absolutely certain that she was the mother of Prudence born 28 years after the marriage. Do you have any information about Oliver Kenyon's wife?
