Yes, it's tax season and that's what I'm working on. I've pulled the first all-nighter in a long time. I did get 2 hours sleep, rising at 1 AM to do taxes. Genealogy has taken a back seat. On the other hand - Fairview cemetery in Chenango County is coming back online, section by section. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nychenan/cemetery.htm --------- Also continuing work on the 1885 history of Cortland county and the DeRuyter historical book for Madison county. I find it interesting that there are numerous mentions of the neighboring towns / people across the county lines. I'm excited about the upcoming material for Homer, for I've already learned quite alot from it. I'm trying to place material online for all three counties that while rich in history are also chock full of names, so that while you may find out that your ancestor did this or that, you also just find them. It seems that while many left quite a legacy, others seemed to tiptoe through counties, leaving hardly a trace of their passing through the years. Tim
