Hello group , I am still looking for any info on a George Watson who died in madison county around 1942- 1945 ,He was my great grandfather He was married to Ida Britton and had 3 children , Bessie watson , Pete Watson, and George Watson, At some point he was no longer with her But instead lived with a woman named Eva. I do not know if they married or not . But my father recalls memorys of This nice woman named Eva It is known that George ( gr grandpa) is buried in a cemetery on rt 13 in McConnesville NY or Camden NY . Ive walked the cemeterys over and over and cannot find his grave. However am embaressed to say , the first day I looked within an hour I did find A George Watson But told my friend it wasnt it. Because I thought i was searching for a George washington Watson only. And now i cant relocate the grave. But even when I do I still have no proof its the right one. He last lived in canastota and Dad says he worked with sold vegtables or worked a veg, farm till he died. He wasnt in the social security system i'm told or wasnt able to receive benifits . Well thanks in advance , Oh by the way , I do read all the postings and hope someday i can help someone else, And I might regret putting in my two cents But . here goes......... When I joined this mail list I found a special close group , full of many wonderfull and interesting peaple who love sharing and helping others, Much like a family in itself. And as any family every member has its own specal value. We may not like each other sometimes and yet we are unseperably family. If i recall someone asked our group for info on a subject that was not quite related to geneology of Madison county. instead Indian relics. So the point is ,,,, We are all valuble and need each other and we do not need to lose anyone to argumentation , And I hope that all can shake hands and agree that we are all in the wrong ( no one less or more) Because we never should of gotten into that conversation to begin with. This is probably a good reason why the list has that rule. But because your all so nice yous fell in a trap trying to help a stranger. The best friends we can have are the ones we can argue with and come out huggin" ( unconditional friendships) Ok , lets get to work . ( smile ) Thankyous , and sincerely , Connie
