Hi Carol, I thought you name sounded familiar when I saw it on the posting. I haven't done very much regarding the Reeds since the last time we wrote. Well, I managed to dispel a few myths regarding some of the extended family lines, and confirm some, but that has been the extent of it. I also submitted tons of info to the Santa Paula Historical Society in Santa Paula, Ca., since my ggg grandmother, Lucinda Surviva Reed and her sister Mary E. Reed went there. Let me rephrase that..Mary E. Reed, daughter of Stephan and Surviva (Hopkins) Reed, married an E.L. Bradley, also from the New York area who CO-founded the town of Santa Paula with a Mr. Blanchard, and because of that most of the my extending family lines moved there, and it is also where I was born, so the historical society was thrilled to get the information.
