Speaking of BROWN I've long been on the search for Charlotte or Sharlot Brown. Charlotte was born about 1835 in Walnut Valley, NJ to Isaac V. BROWN ( abt 1789 - after June 1870) and ANN CARR ( abt 1796- ?) Charlotte died between June of 1965 and Sept of 1870 leaving her husband WILLIAM LANCE with six children. I dont' think William ever got over loosing her as he never married. I do know we feel her loss to this day. Charlotte had at least two siblings I know of 1. James BROWN born about 1828 2, Robert B. Brown born about 1830 no marriage for either are known. Issac V. Brown was born in NJ but his parents JAMES ? - July 16, 1819) and ELIZABETH were likely not. James and Elizabeth had a large family ten children I know of 1. Isaac V. 2. Nicholas 3. James 4. John 5. Joseph 6. Sam 7. Ralph 8. Daniel 9. Sarah who married Fritz 10. Mary who married John Angel. Hi Laurence, I have been watching all of the BROWN info going back and forth, hoping for a connection to my Brown ancestors. I wonder if we have a link. Do you have any other information on Charlotte's brother, James? I have the following info: James C. BROWN, b. 4/16/1827 and married to Moroah H. ARNCE, b. 1/28/1831. They had at least one child, Leroy J. Brown, b. 1/18/1855 and m. Mary NOURSE Do you see any connection with my James Brown? At this point, I have little else on them and am hoping for a miracle!
