Does anyone know anything about the family of Dennis and Mary Connell, native of Ireland, who were in town of Madison in 1870 and 1880 census? They may have been related to Patrick Lyons, also from Ireland. Both men filed their declarations to become citizens on Feb. 27, 1857 (at that time they were living in Eaton). I'd like to find out when Dennis Connell died and where he is buried and the names of all his children. He does appear as a farmer of 40 acres on Lot #82 in Madison in the 1868-69 directory, with a post office address of Hamilton. He may have sometimes been known as Dennis O'Connell. Donna B.
