Catherine Priest is the daughter of Peter Ehle and Cadlyn Mabie. I stumbled across her family a while back. George Delap is still very much a mystery--as is Catherine's husband William Priest. Thank you very much for the find on Mary. I don't why it is, but this family (of mine) at the Rootsweb site has the most numbers of just plain wrong information. After several people told me that Melissa (parents George Delap and Mary Priest) just lied on her marriage records about the names of her parents (and that is my source for their names), I gave up trying to write other people to find out (politely of course) to find out there sources for the alternate information and instead have a note in my file. I found this info first on the family in the 1850 census for the town of Sullivan. The info on Mary in the 1850 mortality census.
