    3. Thanks, Dorothy, for thinking of us. I am looking for a Carpenter family with 11 children as my g-grandfather was the youngest of 11. But he was born in 1830, so not this one exactly. It could be some descendents of his family, though. I wish I knew other siblings names. The oldest sibling was RoxyAnna, b. in 1812 and married Asa (Asahel) Luther. If any of that rings a bell with any Carpenter researchers, please contact me! In todays obituaries (syracuse.com) there was listed a 98 yo lady named Laura Carpenter Galster who was one of 11 children in a Carpenter family from Hermon, NY. She was the widow of Wilber (Hale) Galster. There is quite a lengthy obituary as one would expect from a lady of this age. I thought I would post it as there were 11 children in her family. Sorry it did not give her parents names. I think surprisingly because of her age, she is survived by 4 of her siblings and they are listed in the obit although not their places of residence.
