Thought all of you Beebe's out there might enjoy some interesting information about Cyrus Beebe. I think this talks about father and son but I need to have more info to make the connection. If you can help please let me know. Joan There will be the usual number of changes in our little village this spring. D. Smith Marsh will be moving from the Blanding farm to his own house in the village. B. Weeks from the Cyrus Mason place to the farm which will be vacated by Mr. Marsh. Cyrus Mason has rented his place Allen Marsh. Mr. Mason has just returned from East Hamilton where he had been visiting his uncle Cyrus Beebe and is now the guest of J. F. Garrett and Family. ________________________________________________________ Waterville Times 1906-1909 People of this village were pained to learn of the death of Cyrus Beebe at his home in near East Hamilton recently. Burial was made in the vault in our cemetery besides his daughter Miss. Alice. Much sympathy is felt for his wife, who is left so alone in her old age, and in feeble health. Her sister Mrs. Ann Remick of this place is with her. _________________________________________________________ Waterville Times 1909 Mrs. Cyrus Beebe died at her home at East Hamilton on Monday. She had long been in feeble health and survived her husband but a short time. V. R. Gray and daughter Nellie called at her late home on Tuesday. _____________________________________________________________ `1877 Cyrus Beebe age 79 was married to Mrs. Phoebe Crandall last week in Brookfield. ( I wonder if this wasn't the sister of Rhody Chesebro) because he did marry a Phoebe but I thought her married name had been Palmer not Crandall), does anyone have information about this particular Phoebe and Cyrus? ________________________________________________________ Feb, 14, 1909 Poolville Cyrus Beebe an aged resident of this place died last October leaving an estate valued at $12,320 real and $1, 300 personal property which he willed unconditionally to his wife. Mrs. Beebe has since died. Mr. Beebe's will is now being contested by William L. Beebe of Candor grandnephew of the tester ( I can't read it as it is blurred). Two nieces and a nephew and a grandniece have waived any rights they may have. The matter will come up before Surrogate Kilay February 21. J. F, Gridley appears for William Beebe, the Hon. E. Watts Cushman for Mrs. Beebe and Allson C. Brooks for the executor ____________________________________________________________ Paralegal Scholarship - Click Now! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/Ioyw6i3oICho9WAjiCQG4YYPQW5Crj3zkvCKyd48FNQ3eCglczHrmW/
