When it was quoted John Button was from Westerly Co., NY, I believe that must be Westerly, RI. First as there is no Westerly Co. in NY and second as they settled in a Seventh Day Baptist community in Madison Co. it is likely they were from RI. The SDB church was out of Westerly, RI and surrounds. You might want to check the SDB rootsweb email list and also SDB records for more on this family. Sharon
