Tim, I visited Americana Village a day or so ago. I see the name on the Stowell Stone is W.C. Would that be William Charles Stowell, died 1904 and his wife, Lucina d. 1905? How is he related to us? This one is listed in the Stowell book on page751. Probably you have heard the story about most of the stones (maybe all) in that cemetery being moved there from Rebeccah cemetery. This would mean our ancestor, William's, body is still in Rebecca Cemetery. There are about two dozen larger stones in the cemetery besides the smaller ones. Chas
I had this place on my list to visit with Unc this summer. Sad to hear not kept up?? Not sure I can find it, but thought it was a good trip and would search it out??
