A while back I came across a little article that stated the following in the Brookfield Courier. "Mrs. Spooner and daughter of Sherburne are visiting her parents Rev. and Mrs HN Van Dusen." Does this ring a bell with anyone? And are these particular Spooners connected with Frank Spooner one of the owners of the Brookfield Courier. I also remember reading in my grandfather's paper The Candor Courier in the late 1940's around 1949- 1950 That a Mr. and Mrs. McFarline of Candor, NY were visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Spooner of Brookfield. Just wondering if there might be a connection to my Spooner's Frank and his parents Fanny and Hank Spooner of Brookfield. Ya never know.
