We moved from Candor to Mesa, AZ for a year then we lived in Portland, Or. for about 40 years. There were times we had ice storm's and power would be out for a few weeks. But then that was once in a blue moon. Usually winter was over by the end of January or the middle of February and it was time to think about putting in the garden. I do miss the not so long winters but Candor is home and I am glad to be here in spite of the nasty weather.
