Here in Florida on the West coast it is a brisk 45 degrees out. Not surfing weather that's for sure. But I do think the water might be warmer than the air. The Manatees are starting to look for warmer water tho. This is the time of year you might see some near the nuke plants or some come up the canals a bit. They are a very exotic mammal. I guess they are a mammal. Fun to watch. Keep warm....At least we don't have to shovel snow. Dorothy
Yes, you are right. Manatees are mammals, related to elephants. Extremely docile animals. They grow up to 10 ft long and weight about half a ton or more.
