The variety/complexity of the tales of 2010 census amaze me. Got our census schedule today--does not look as interesting as some from the past by any means. If you receive another census form, it may be from someone "FISHING" for your financial data, including your Social Security Number!. Be extra alert, and avoid the bait, (especially if the return address is Nigeria). You get the picture? Lots of people out there with scams trying to ride the government's coat tail. This is supposed to be the information age. So hopefully there will be plenty of information besides the census for future generations. I am amazed how much information one can find in public databases about living people. Here is another website that not only explains the 2010 Census but also states and explains all the Myths about this Census. There is a list of catagories on the Left side to choose from, but I suggest that you read the entire site for the facts and include the Directors Blog. It tells you about the first Census (1790) and the Laws regarding responding to the Census. It also states that you are obligated to respond (include entire household) to all 10 questions. This site should clarify any questions that you might have regarding the Census. http://2010.census.gov/ I currently work as a Temporary employee for the 2010 Federal Census and have been trained and sworn in under oath. There is nothing to fear about the Census. Pat R On Tue, Mar 16, 2010 at 11:03 PM, Teresa Culver <terryculver@embarqmail.com>wrote: > This is supposed to be the information age.
