Looking for information about Paine Wait or any Wait descendants who can identify Paine's spouse and/or their ten children.  He and others of the the family lived in Brookfield in the early part of the 1800s. Paine was 82 years of age in 1840 and is said to have lived to 105. Per Madison County history, Paine died at the home of a Mrs. Clark -- might she have been the wife or mother of Wait Clark, also an early resident of Madison County?  I'm interested in any information anyone might have about the Jenkens Wait family.
