A few years back there was something announced about some old papers found in the basement of the Madison County courthouse. Did anything ever come of that? - Rich Holmes
I, too, would like to know if there has been anything done with those documents. --- On Mon, 2/22/10, Rich Holmes <richholmes@richholmes.net> wrote: From: Rich Holmes <richholmes@richholmes.net> Subject: [NYMADISO] Papers in the basement? Rich, Sure , something came of it. Back Street Mary and volunteers sorted through all those boxes, stored, and labeled the contents by catagory. A great piece of work! There have been several articles in the on-line newspaper, Madison County Courier, about the findings of an individual researcher. Also, suggest you contact the County Historian for more info. email= historian@co.madison.ny.us Chas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rich Holmes" <richholmes@richholmes.net> To: <nymadiso@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 22, 2010 10:39 PM Subject: [NYMADISO] Papers in the basement? >A few years back there was something announced about some old papers found > in the basement of the Madison County courthouse.
