A few years back there was something announced about some old papers found in the basement of the Madison County courthouse. Did anything ever come of that? - Rich Holmes

Rich, Sure , something came of it. Back Street Mary and volunteers sorted through all those boxes, stored, and labeled the contents by catagory. A great piece of work! There have been several articles in the on-line newspaper, Madison County Courier, about the findings of an individual researcher.
