    3. Tim, My gr-gr-grandfather, Alden MASON b. in Swansea MA, spent the later part of his life (d. in 1883) in DeRuyter which I can locate via census. But can come up with little more than a wife with first name of Rhoda ?? (possibly DUNBAR) who d. in 1858 in Palermo, Oswego Co, NY. That is, if I'm correct. Do you have any MASONs who were Baptist in the material to which you refer? 3. Hello to all I can't remember who it was, possibly Chas... who was asking about the Isbell family, awhile back. Anyway, I've put some energy into the family, as my great grandmother was Edith Isbell of Eaton. What I have done with this project is used Edna Warren Mason's work: "The Descendants of Robert Isbell in America" along with quite a few other sources, but concentrated on the family as it is related to Madison County. There are 10 generations of the family at: http://pear.4t.com Eventually I will have Mason's book online somewhere but, for now, will offer to do some lookups and be glad to amend this work, if any of you can be of help. 1. Munger - Abraham/Abram (1775-1852) and Epenetus (b.c. 1806)
    2. I am looking for information about Epenetus Munger, b. c. 1806, possibly in Rensselaersville, Albany Co., NY. An LDS/IGI source lists him as the son of Abraham/Abram Munger (1775-1852) and Phoebe Hopkins(1773-1848) who appear to be buried in Lebanon, Madison Co. The same LDS source lists other children as: (all births "Of Rensselaarville, , Albany, New York") 1. Fanny Munger Female Birth: 06 AUG 1797 Death: 04 MAR 1826 2. Jemina Munger Female Birth: 13 FEB 1800 Death: 20 AUG 1827 3. Erastus Munger Male Birth: 21 MAY 1802 Death: 01 APR 1895 4. Eliza Munger Female Birth: About 1804 (no further information) 5. 1. 1860 Census
    2. Karl MacEachron
    3. Quite a while ago, I asked a question about the 1860 census; in that census, there was a column titled 'Married During The Year' and I asked if this means within the year '1860' or thelast 12 months? Many of you kindly sent me the answer (which I thought was correct before I asked); I now have the definitive answer sent by a census official who read my question as well - below is her answer: 15. Married during the Year.-- Under heading 11, you are to make a dash (1) opposite the name of each person, male and female, married within the year previous to June 1; that is, of all persons who are residents, and whose names are entered on the schedule Should you ever have questions on what the columns, or information in them, was supposed to contain you can find the answers at http://www.ipums.org/usa/voliii/tEnumInstr.html Thanks everyone for the answers you sent but I thought you would like to know that your analysis was proven correct.
