Hi Joan You can order the Newspaper films Inter-Library Loan from the NYS Newspaper Project for the Counties/Towns in NYS. The Main Library near you has the reader to read them as they cannot be taken out of the Library. I use this Project all the time and find it very valuable. Here is the URL http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/nygcty.htm Good Luck Pat R

These are smaller than the ones that I have for Cortland and Madison and Tioga Counties, but still of help in research. I also have histories for Norwich, Oxford and Sherburne, Chenango County if someone would be interested in helping type something up for the web site. You would recieve credit (your name on the page as the typest for it) and if would be yours if you want to send it to another web site. These 3 are a little larger (5 to 8 pages each) than the ones that I just put online and any help would be appreciated. Also I have the towns of Owego (30 pages), Condor (27 pages) and Spencer (30 pages) in Tioga County if someone would like to type one of them up. Most other towns in Tioga County are online. In a few days I should have the towns in Deliware County in files to be typed up. If you would be interested in helping to type one of these please contact me off of the list. I don't tell others who is typing something until it goes online just in case something comes up and it is not finished. Some others could get upset with you.
