    3. Hi Nana, Looks like we don't have a match. My William Franklins were all born on different dates: aft 1770; abt 1805; Apr. 1888 & abt 1816. No wife Betsey or son John for any of them. The one b. aft 1770 was b. in Scituate RI, married to Sarah Bennett, relocated to Otsego Co., NY & then to PA. 3. Pat, thank you for responding. I am pretty sure that my Franklin family was in RI as the older children were born there and the older Franklin m into the Spencer family. I am sure that they got to Brookfield through membership in the SDB church. There are a group of us, William and Sarah Spencer had 12 children, who are turning over every stone we can to get one generation back and find out who the parents of William were. Sarah and William's oldest child was a John and that may be a clue to the name of William's father, but we just can't find anyone to fit. 2. Hi Peggy I know what you mean with the Hurricanes. We are in Martin County the worst hit county in FL for 2004 and suffered 2 direct hits and 1 other with heavy Tropical storms. . Still sitting here with the roof not repaired, Ins Companies not responding and FEMa gave it all to Miami and we were 40 days without Electric or Water. 2nd week of November before we got telephones (still having trouble with the phones). You might find this CD at one of the Local Genealogical Libraries near you. We have one that has it and although it is not like having it at home it does work. Regards Pat R
