Someone wrote in stating that they were corresponding from another person on this list, off list and that they received an attachment that they thought was also from this person also off list, this attachment turned out to be not from this person but something else entirely, etc, etc. This person wanted to warn others about opening attachments and this happening to them and how strange it is - you can go to the archives and review it. Someone took offense to this topic being on the list, then this info was posted from the archives about rootsweb not allowing attachments through the list due to virus's. Tim at one time had a separate list to help others become more computer literate, it no longer is operational. Basically, the original poster just wanted to warn others about her experience, and it turned into a nightmare for her.
