Hi Peggy I was just over in to Polk County. Didn't realize it was Polk County. I was visiting friends in Lakeland. In fact I was over there 3 times this past season. We also just went through Lake Wales on our way to St Petersburg (our second trip to the W Coast this season). In fact we just got back from St Petersburg last week. Now, Back to Basic's. It also seems like I had an email discussion with you regarding a Madison County Family? Can you remember who it might of been? Perhaps it was a SDB family? Regards Pat R

Hi Fellow Madison Listers I had promised nformation for a few fellow Madison County Listers. Sorry! But my Computer crashed and I lost all of those unanswered Emails. My computer never really worked properly after our 2 direct hit Hurricanes that struck our little town and that damage (which cost me $275.+ computer repairs) and I really was not about to put $300. (????) more into it. So after much thought I waited for a good sale and obtained all new Computer, New Monitor and all in 1 Printer. Tough trying to work 1 hr at a time on a Library Computer 10 miles from home. Please send me your requests again and I will look them up but remember I am behind and it could take a little time. I am sincerely sorry that I was unable to respond to anyone. I really missed you all. We are also taking a trip to Mesa AZ next week to attend the highschool graduation of one of our grandchildren. We could not refuse as they sent us the tickets. We will be gone 9 days as the tickets were less expensive this way. It should be exciting as we have not an opportunity to go before. Regards Pat R

Hi, Does anyone have a Lucy Warren b 8 April 1763, daughter of Capt. Ephraim Warren, in their line? She married Charles Hopkins and settled in the Madison, Cazenovia/DeRuyters area. Lucy Warren's daughter, Surviva Hopkins married a Stephen Reed in the area..any information on this branch of Reeds are of great interest to me. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Debera.
I have no info on John Warrens Siblings. His children contain no Debbie's, however there is an unknown name female born in 1825. I suspect she died shortly after birth. Bob
Joan, I just did a quick search for the BEEBE name in the Oneida County Genweb and came up with many, many listings. Go here http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyoneida/ and click on Search at the bottom left menu and type if Beebe and see if you can find your family. Wish I could find that many hits for my Decker name. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the will of your Beebe grandfather will be in the county clerk's office of the county where he died. Is Candor in Tioga County? There will be large books to go through by date and are in alphabetical order by year. Good luck, Elaine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Meddaugh" <lpmj@juno.com> To: <NYMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 16, 2005 2:48 PM Subject: [NYMADISO] Brookfield cemetery > Hi Gang, > > Joan Beebe Meddaugh here. Hi Joan, Go to mapquest.com and this will get you directions from your house to Brookfield and maybe to the cemetery. Try typing in the name of the cemetery and see what happens. Maybe you are already familiar with how to get from Candor to Brookfield. Did you do a search in our web site to see if the cemetery is listed there? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Meddaugh" <lpmj@juno.com> To: <NYMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 16, 2005 2:48 PM Subject: [NYMADISO] Brookfield cemetery > Hi Gang, > > Joan Beebe Meddaugh here. Hi Gang, Joan Beebe Meddaugh here. And I need some directions. Can any one tell me how to get to the old Beebe cemetery in N. Brookfield, NY and also where James and Chloe Hills would be buried? I am finally going to going up that way in just a bit so need to know where to find those elusive family members. And also where I might find the will of my great grandfather Hiram J. Beebe who died January 21, 1906 in Candor, NY but for some unknown reason is buried in N. Brookfield cemetery. His wife Ellen Amelia Hills Beebe who died in Aug. of 1928 is buried in Candor. Guess they must have had a big fight or something. Sure is strange. Joan Beebe Meddaugh
There were also Warrens in the DeRuyter/Sheds area in that time frame. Could your Warrens be related to John Warren 1774-1848 of Stockbridge, Madison County? I have nothing on John Warrens parents. Bob Evans
Adriel Warren had a son Henry Warren in Cazenovia in 1803. Henry has been tracked in later years but Adriel is the mystery. My area of interest is Madison and Onondaga Counties for 1810 and 1820 census. I have looked at each actual name on each census page for 1810 for these two counties to locate "Adriel Warren". I have searched again and again on various websites for this name and all possible spellings. I've searched by first 3 letters of all Adriel's in the U.S. etc. with no luck locating him. Does anyone have access to an index for the 1810 and/or 1820 census that would be so kind to look for this name and possible variations? Also, Adriel's older son Peletiah Warren married Betsey Benson in Pompey, Onondaga, Ny in 1813. They had several childred born there thru 1823 yet I cannot find Peletiah in the 1820 census. Peletiah born in 1786 so in 1810 he COULD be out on his own, but in 1820 he should definitely be locatable!! Any comments, suggestions, or look-ups greatly appreciated. Thanks. In correspondence with a close family friend of Dan and his wife, I was informed that his co-workers in Virginia are putting together a memory book for his wife. "if there is anything you or others that knew him would like to convey about Dan - a nice memory or funny story I can put it in the book. We are holding a small memorial service for him next Thursday and we'll give her the book then." Dan died of a massive heart attack. He was at work alone Friday afternoon, found by the director when he had not returned home. For those wondering what Dan looked like, a page showing him loving life - http://users.erols.com/weiskotten/maggie.html If you wish to contribute to this memory book, please send such to - tstowell@chattanooga.net - I'll then pass those along to the lady who is putting the book together. Please use a subject line - memory book for Dan, or some such so I can find it among my other mail. Unless you post directly to this list, such notes / information will remain private. Tim Stowell tstowell@chattanooga.net Please feel free to post this on any other list.
