Hello to all I have the first page of the Madison Center Cemetery online. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ameralia/centercemetery/madcenac.htm On this page you will find surnames A - C. The link at the very bottom does not work yet, as I have not made an index page for this section yet. However, the Map link is good, but I've located the cemetery a little north of its actual location (too lazy to change it at the moment)... The cemetery is located on Center Road, just south/southeast of the village, off South St. (also known as Lake Moraine Road). This cemetery is filled with old names of note, and I hope to have it finished by 2025 (kiddin... hopefully the end of next week or so). Happy Hunting John -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Joan, Thank you for your offer. What I have a reference to History of Madison Co by Hammond from another researcher. I am looking for information on James and Margaret Cameron who emigrated from Scotland and settled in east edge of Fenner. Also their son Robert Cameron who married Sarah Allen in 1831, have never been able to find her parents. Sarah is one of my brick walls. Does anyone know where I can find books " HISTORY OF MADISON COUNTY " By Mrs. L.M. Hammond Thank you for any help you can give me. Sondra
Hi all - just picked up on this "Cameron" name search - our family, the Frasers, were interrelated to the Camerons in Nova Scotia. You may find some names you are looking for in early ship records (sorry, lost my entire "bookmarks" file for the web pages). They are Scottish, not French (unless you go back about 1000 years). I found a great site for ship records from Scotland c. 1800 - can't tell you where that is - but you may start by looking into Nova Scotia early records. Carol
Hi Val The ink is very light, but it looks as though they are all together in the B section. The B section would be in the southeast corner on both sides of the lane. Thanx, John. This is intersting. It leads me believe they are related somehow. Another couple puzzle pieces to add to the pile!!! Ever feel like Sherlock Holmes? Thanx for the directions, also. We don't get to NY too often but will venture out there in another year when our daughter gets married. And I rarely pass by Madison Co. without stopping for some reason to look for something.
