    2. Donnelly
    3. Hi, I would like to encourage you to check out the resources at the virtual cemetery at http://www.findagrave.com <http://www.findagrave.com/> . You can check grave listings by state, county, surname, etc. There are more than 21 million entries. You might find information on a bunch of your ancestors. This is also a great site for posting more detailed information and photos on a particular ancestor than could fit on a traditional genealogy site. Thanks, Sharlotte [email protected]

    2. edition of the Syracuse Paper. If anyone is researching the Nye family of DeRuyter, etc. this will be of interest. Just think possibly having all these archives available online someday. Wouldn't it be fantastic. I only hope we're around long enough to see and appreciate it - Syracuse.com. 3. Pine Woods Cemetery is the only cemetery in the Town of Eaton for which I don't have a roster. They still have a cemetery association, and Jo Currier would be the one to contact. 3. Interesting. I had been in contact with Holly (Syracuse Library) about 2 years ago. She's excellent. She found my biological g-grandparent's obituarys and 1 for my bio grandmother. As an extra surprise, she also found a picture of my g-grandfather that was in the local newspaper. I highly recommand her. 3. Don't know if this is the correct cemetery, but go to http://www.findagrave.com and type in Pine Wood Cemetery, and up will come a picture and list of 9 people buried in that cemetery, in Madison County, NY. The people are Leland, Sanderson and Lillie and there are pictures of their tombstones also. It is beside Leland Pond. Dorothy

    3. Hello All You wouldn't believe what I found in the sock drawer alone... Holy Cow (as one Buddhist said to another...) (Just for the record, I have a couple of dear acquaintances who are Buddhist.) Well... here, in Australia, tomorrow (Monday) is a public holiday. It's called the Eight Hours Day. It's part of the labor movement and is based on 8 hours sleep, 8 hours work, and 8 hours play. It came to be in the 1850s. Its origin is in the Industrial Revolution (you probably already knew that...) and people were being overworked - 18 hours / day, etc... It forms part of the early history for the celebration of Labor Day and May Day. My wife just got upset because I didn't spell labor as labour, so that is about all I'm going to be able to pass on for now. Hope this finds you all well. John ps - I am available to take bribes to tell you what's in the sock drawer...
