I've "rescued" two old diaries which originally belonged to John T. CRAWFORD of Ridge, Livingston Co., New York. The first is an 1880 diary in which something appears to be written on every date outlining his activities, payments, purchases, etc. The second is a 1882 diary, again written in almost everyday if not everyday including details of his activities each day.
