I happened to stumble upon it and believe they may be related to our family from the Geneseo, NY, area. I am working on our BRITTON/HANBY genealogy with a couple of cousins. We have a Margaret M. BEGOLE b. 1812 who married John HANBY b. 1805, Geneseo, NY. I believe her father is Samuel BEGOLE b. 1783 in Maryland. But WILLIAM and JOSIAH BEGOLE may be relatives. The area of Groveland, NY, is certainly the right area. Thank you for sharing this most interesting history. I will pass it on to my cousins. Connie
