In case you have ancestors coming from Germany you may be interested to learn more about them, who they were and where they came from. I run a historical research office for genealogical and historical research on emigrants/immigrants. My hometown St. Wendel is located in South-West-Germany near the French and Luxembourgian border. Lots of people from Dansville, Perkinsville, Cohocton and Wayland originate from St. Wendel and its surrounding villages like Oberlinxweiler, Niederlinxweiler, Remmesweiler, Baltersweiler, Alsfassen, Breiten, Bliesen, Linden, Born, etc. I have access to all records of our local record offices as well as to catholic and protestant church records - if they are not kept at their original sites, I know where to locate them. I also can do transcriptions of old documents like records, letters, notary files whose hand-writing style is obsolet and you will have problems to read and understand it. And in case they are in German, there will be no big problems to translate it into English or give a brief summary about its contents.
