The name Clark runs rampant through my family that lived in Livingston Co. My father was Gurdon Clark Mather, named after his uncle and his grandfather. They lived in Avon (my grandparents). Lest you think this is a recent time frame, it's not. My grandfather, Horatio Nelson Mather was born in 1827 and was 60 when my dad was born to his fourth wife and the only one to survive him. In turn my dad was 55 when I was born. You don't mention any years you are searching. My great-grandfather, Gurdon Clark Mather, married Eunice Miner/Minor and in her family there are many Clarks, including a family named Leech/Leach who have several Clarks. I haven't totally gotten to the bottom of the Clark name as is runs in my family but I intend to eventually.
