Hi, I also searched for a marriage record from 1857. I had no luck but maybe you will. There is a St. Patrick's in Mt. Morris and a St. Mary's in Geneseo. Neither are far from Leicester and both have records dating back that far. I just don't think their records are complete. Both films are available from the Family History Center.
