Hi Everyone: I'm searching for a marriage record from about 1856 or -57 that may have taken place in Livingston County. The county historian has no marriage records back that far. Does anyone know where very old Catholic marriage records might be in the county, especially in the Leicester vicinity? The historian guessed that St. Thomas Catholic Church in Leicester probably is not that old. I'm wondering if that is so, what church might have preceded it. Of course the records may not exist, but I'll keep trying until I determine this. Thanks for any help anyone can give. Carol McGann
