They are listed in the Caledonia, Livingston Cty, NY 1840 Census. However, there is no trace of them in subsequent Census records. It is possible that James H. LORD may have died between 1840 and 1850. There is evidence that Sarah M. MIX LORD lived in Dansville, Livingston Cty, NY in 1843. Sarah M. MIX was born abt May 1821 in Clarence, (then) Niagara Cty, (now) Erie Cty, NY and grew up in Gainesville, Wyoming Cty, NY.
