A native of England, McKay lived in Brantford, Ont., before he moved to Niagara Falls. He retired in 1966 as a baker with 35 years of service at the Nabisco Shredded Wheat plant. He moved to Rialto, Calif., in 1966 and then to Caledonia He was a member of Niagara River Lodge 785, F&AM. As a young man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. In his retirement, he worked with wood crafts. His first wife, the former Winifred Fox, died in 1965. His second wife, the former Mary Fath, died in 1988. Survivors include a son, Ralph of Niagara Falls; a stepson, Harry Fath of Rialto, Calif.; a daughter, Norma Lawson of Caledonia; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
