I am once again posting my BAILEY family who lived in Avon, New York. WILLIAM BAILEY was born in March, 1852 in Avon, New York. He married EMMA BURDICK and they had 10 children, the oldest, NELLIE, was my grandmother. I have found the family in Avon censuses from 1870-1910. He is not found in the local census in 1915. Also, I am looking for GEORGE BAILEY, whom I am assuming is WILLIAM'S father. I have found him in the 1850 census for Livingston, the 1865 Avon state census. I believe he died around 1870 as his wife, Permelia, is listed as a widow in the 1870 census. Would anyone be so kind as to see if they could find a date of death for either of these men as I seem to have hit a brick wall?
