My Irish ancestors resided in Groveland, Livingston Co in the 1880 census James LOFT (LOUGH)(1839-1892) and Bridget GLENN (1840-1917) with their children: Bernard, Mary, Patrick, Theresa and Elizabeth. Their eldest son James listed as a farm laborour on a farm in Mount Morris. They were from Clones parish, County Fermanagh and County Monaghan. They were in Jarrow, County Durham, England in the 1871 UK census and likely came to the US in 1874-76. Did any other Dansville Irish come from these places ?
