I am also trying to find out info on Hall's from Avon. My 3rd great Grandfather was Orrin/Orin Hall. In the census I have from 1850 Avon New York William is listed just under my family. Family # 113 Orrin Hall age 22 with wife Julia age 21 and son John age 1 all born in NY. Orrin is listed as a Furnaceman. The next family #114 is William E Hall age 37 is looks like Hester M age 32, Caroline B age 13, Sophia P age 11, Frances E age 9 and Elizabeth 2/12. Also listed with Williams family is Phebe Stafford age 40 and James Stafford age 25. William is listed as a farmer and all were born in New York. I am hoping that Orrin and William are related and I would love more info on him. In 1860 I have him now listed as Orin E Hall with wife Julia, son John, daughter Josephine and daughter Florence. This is a new fine for me. Josephine is my 2nd Great Grandmother and until the complete list of all the names for 1860 were posted I coul! d find her parents.
