Mr. BARTON died in Thursday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Martin KANE of Erie street, death resulting from the infirmities of age. For the past five weeks he had been confined to his bed. Mr. BARTON was born in Caledonia [NY] on September 25, 1835 and most of his life had been passed in that town and Le Roy. His wife [Maria] died six years ago and since that time he had made his home with his daughter. Besides Mrs. Kane he is survived by five sons, George F., John, Edward and Harry, all of Rochester and Nathan BARTON of Buffalo. End 6 Apr 1921 Le Roy [NY] Gazette.
