We were there two years ago and visited the village and church. He could have had brothers/sisters who came over with him to NYS and/or stayed in England. The name William comes up two or three times in later generations so it is very possible that they were cousins/brothers. My Thomas's son was Daniel - my ggrandfather and he had a son William 1888 and they named their children after other family members. Do you know anything else about your William before settled in NYS? I don't recognize any of the names you gave me, but that doesn't mean we aren't related, just means we have more work to do.
