They have a records index dating from 1880 until 1954 for most of New York State. Certificates can then be ordered from the Department of Health and delivered in about 5 weeks when ordered here in Albany. I also research vitals from NY City at the Municipal Archives in Manhattan. They produce copies on site I can deliver the same day.
