    1. GEORGE and WILLIAM BAILEY
    2. francis eustis
    3. I am once again posting my BAILEY family who lived in Avon, New York. WILLIAM BAILEY was born in March, 1852 in Avon, New York. He married EMMA BURDICK and they had 10 children, the oldest, NELLIE, was my grandmother. I have found the family in Avon censuses from 1870-1910. He is not found in the local census in 1915. Also, I am looking for GEORGE BAILEY, whom I am assuming is WILLIAM'S father. I have found him in the 1850 census for Livingston, the 1865 Avon state census. I believe he died around 1870 as his wife, Permelia, is listed as a widow in the 1870 census. Would anyone be so kind as to see if they could find a date of death for either of these men as I seem to have hit a brick wall? I recently moved to Washington state from Colorado so research becomes even more difficult. My e-mail remains: [email protected] Fran Eustis

    1. dansville irish
    2. i guess when i mentioned the dansville irish i should have given the name of the library but i assumed people would know since its the dansville irish then the volumes would be in the dansville library i made up these records myself some years ago and copied church records, mostly st. patricks church. i also note the burial places and the information on their stones when i found them and obits from the old newspapers. many dansville irish came from mayo and sligo during the famine years 1846 -1852 and came through canada into the US. i have been able to link up some families to their birth place in ireland and have spent a good bit of time in ireland, 24 trips to be exact and have visited some of the places they lived befre they left ireland you can check with me or visit the dansville library and ask for ms knuti . some of the volunteers there will not be familiar with the two volumes but they are upstairs in the history room. sorry if i caused any confusion MAC

    1. dansville irish
    2. the library has two volumes of most of the dansville irish families that came to dansville during the 1846- 1850 period and later. much information is included on each family and in some cases the location where the family came from in ireland is listed. if you look at the books and they are of some value to you a small donation to the library would be nice. drop me a note if you have any questions as i did the research for the books. Surnames: WHITE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/iRB.2ACE/2782.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Bridge of course could have been named after local property owners and there were plenty of "WHITE's" in that area or of course the bridge could have been painted white.. But looking at topo map there is a WHITE CREEK, right there that crosses River Road north of rte 5 right beside the RR Track just before Lacey Rd, it then crosses under another RR Line before dumping into Genesse River. So one of those two WHITE CREEK BRIDGES, OR BOTH, WERE CALLED white bridge. E Mail me direct next time.
