Edward died before 1868; Mary's second husband was John Cronan (see below) Edward & Mary's children -- Elizabeth, b. NY ca. 1857; married Daniel Robinson at an unknown date & location Ellen, b. Jan. 20, 1857 in Livingston Co. (my gg/grandmother) James, b. ca. 1858; not listed with mother & stepfather in 1870 census Edward, b. ca. 1861, later lived in LeRoy. CRONAN John Cronan b. Ireland ca. 1830. First wife Ellen b. Ireland ca. 1832. In 1860 census they are listed in Groveland, Livingston Co.; no children. John & Ellen's children -- Johanna, b. ca. 1860; in 1880 there is a Johanna Cronan living with & working for Dr. H. M. Dayfoot & family; no further info. Ellen, b. ca. 1862; no further info.     3. Kelly, Agnes G. d. Dec 19 1877 59 y. 15 d., South Sparta Cem, Sparta Kelly, Daniel A. Groveland Grange No. 919 Member 1935 Kelly, Daniel Mrs. of Groveland Hill 1953. Kelly, Daniel of Groveland, a member of the 8th NY Cavalry during the Civil War, was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions at Waynesboro, VA, in 1865. Int Mt. Pleasant Cem. Geneseo. Daniel Kelly donated the original plot of land on which the cemetery is located. The presence of Kelly's unmarked grave is however, confirmed in the cemetery records. Kelly was a farmer and militia member in Western Pennsylvania who served in the are around Fort Bosley or Bosley Mills. Edmund Bosley married Ann Kelly, Daniel's daughter, and the two families moved to farms just east of Geneseo. There is a large Bosley family monument to mark their gravesites in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Daniel Kelly's grave is now marked with a bronze medallion that indicates his service during the Revolutionary War. Kelly, Ellen b. 1854 in Livingston Co. Her mother was Katherine (or Catherine), & her maiden name may have been Cronin. Oral family history has it that Ellen's parents came Kelly, Gregory m: Nov 1903 The little daughter of Gregory m: KELLY was severely injured last week & it was feared she might loose the sight of one eye. She was playing on the park when another girl threw a large piece of cinder into a tree & the cinder fell in such a way as to strike the Kelly girl over the eye, making a severe wound. Kelly, John of West Sparta who enlisted in the Union Army after July 2 1862 & before July 18 1864 & recieved a bounty of $50 from the town. Kelly, Mae of Groveland participated in the Apple Blossom Queen contest May 21 1938 at Long Point Park, Conesus Lake. Kelly, Robert of West Sparta who enlisted in the Union Army under the call of July 18, 1864, for five hundred thousand men. Kelly, William Sr. born ABT 1877 possibly in PA, married to Margaret b. abt 1777 in PA. I have found him in Livingston County, Groveland census reports from 1830 until 1850. He passed away in 1855.     1. Catherine McCurdy- buried at Temple Hill , Geneseo N.Y.
    2. Catherine McCurdy died in 1940. an is buried along side of Archie, Henry & Rose an etc. There were flowers on her grave this past Memorial Day 2003 . I beleive her sister Rose was married to my g.uncle Dennis Mcfall for they are buried along side. There has to be someone out there that placed the floral arangement on her grave.
