Dear Dick, Thank you and Dave for your information and suggestions. One Lewis Co. lister, Caroline Virkler ,had an address for Jo[FOWLER]FARNEY living in Croghan and I shall write to her asap. Caroline thinks that the other sister may have deceased. Well, Jo will let me know about that. I was interested in the Wolfe's camp at Chase Lake. Later, the College at Cortland [which I attended ]acquired such a camp on Raquette Lake. I have seen many pictures over the years as it was developed for student uses. Those old camps in the Adirondacks-especially the larger ones developed for commercial use--were quite spectacular weren't they? New York State is one of the most beautiful of our states. For over 20 years I was an Air Force wife traveling and living many places including Germany and Labrador. Until coming to live in CA. in the 1960's--I had not seen any place that equalled NYS.
