I am also interested in cemeteries in Turin, as a descendant of Jeduthan Higby (Sr. and Jr.). Jed, Jr. was married to Florenda Regan. It appears he left her and their kids (he was only 17-18 when they married, she was older, about 22) and went to VA where he married Barbara Easter and they had Davis K. Higby. Barbara died then he married Prudence Marple Larue. They had a lot of kids. Jed's last child (#22) was my g-grandmother Adah Belle. The book, "Edward Higby and his Descendants" has Jed, Jr. buried in Turin, but he is not. Grave for Florenda is there, but not his. Anyone out there familiar with this branch of the Higbys? The two Jeds were both preachers, and it has been rumored that it was a church scandal that forced Jed, Jr. to leave town/state/wife and family. Norma Unger
