Hi Ken With all the people who traveled to and from Lewis County in the early years it is sad to see our Mailing List so "DEAD". Many touched base here before their move westward. I hope to revive it and get our people working again and trying to connect with others in the Lewis County area. When my mother worked on the Bowen History Book she put her whole heart and soul into it. She traveled to NE to get material on the pioneers and loved every minute of it. I cannot let that die. On her death bed she told my youngest sister that I had made her proud of her bio heritage and I must continue to do so. I knew being adopted had made her feel like life had cheated her. But she did change her Obit and stated her Bio Parents and also her adopted parents and realized that she had an honorable heritage. If I never gave another thing to anyone in the world, I gave my mother her proud heritage. Regards Pat R. I was proud to get all the emails from the Lewis County Site after her recent death and that has encouraged me to get back into Genealogy in Lewis County. However I just completed 3 Seminars in Florida, with more to complete and I am booked for 2 Seminars in the beginning of 2005 already. Regards Pat R
