James Duane Moore James Duane Moore was B in Martinsburg, Lewis County NY on April 30 1816 and D in Lowville on Aug. 19 1892. He was the son of Orrin Moore and Polly Wheeler Moore. He married Emily Arthur the dauhter of Bradford Arthur and Rheuma Ela Arthur of Martinsburg on Jan. 8 1839. Emily was B at Martinsburg on March 32 1818 and D there April 23 1892. Mr Moore was but 10 years of age when his father died. He cared for his aged mother who lived to be 94 years of age and he resided on the family farm where he always lived.
