Hello Everyone, I have just subscribed to this list. I live in Northumberland, England and my grandmother emigrated to the UK back in 1915. Anyway, looking back researching my family history, I am trying to find out about my great great and great great great grandparents! The names I am researching are: HODGE (from near Copenhagen & Denmark areas) in early to mid 1800s. Earliest I can go back to is my PALMER HODGE who was born in about April 1776 in New York county. WILSON (from state of New York in early to mid 1800s) Sarah Wilson (my ggg grandmother born 1806-1878)'s father was a JOHN WILSON (Scottish origin). The family may have lived in Washington, NY, or maybe even the state of Washington - not sure. SWITZER (Anna Maria married John Wilson). We believe that she may have been born July 28, 1761 in Ireland and emigrated to Canada, Ontario, Ernestown in late 1700's.
