Looking for information: Back in the 1950's I was part of a civil defense unit called "Airplane Spotters". We were a group of teenage kids who upon spotting an Airplane would call a certain telephone number, describe or identify the airplane's features and direction. I assume since we were close to Canada at the time there was worry about attack from the north. Does anyone remember this and could anyone direct where the information could be stored from that time.
